How does the sizing for a smart ring work?
Oura makes sizing pretty simple with its ring sizing kit, which includes several plastic sample rings you can try on. You can try the sizing kit at a store like Best Buy or have it shipped to you from Amazon. You’ll then receive a credit for the cost of the kit, which can be use toward your ring once you’ve chosen a size. Doing this means you might miss the deal, so we recommend making your most educated guess to start using this virtual sizing guide.
Can I use a smart ring to track running?
Yes. The Oura Ring 4 (and Gen 3) will automatically track activity. Once the ring syncs to the app, it will ask you to confirm the type of activity you did. We’ve found this to be surprisingly accurate as well. Similarly, if you do need to manually select the type of activity, the Oura app does a great job of sensing it again in the future. How do I charge a smart ring?
The battery life of a smart ring will vary depending on your level of activity. Typically, it will last five to seven days. Oura’s smart rings come with a charging base that plugs into a power adapter with a USB-C cable. Be aware that the chargers are also sized to fit your ring size. A smaller ring won’t fit on a charger for a larger-sized ring.
