Week 5 of the 2025 college football season features a can’t-miss SEC showdown between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs. We’ve scoured the internet to find everything you need to know about how to watch Alabama vs. Georgia, including live streaming options for those without cable.
Two Southeastern Conference titans will face off this weekend in a rematch from last season, in which the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Georgia Bulldogs 41-34. The two teams have a storied history, having faced off in the 2023 SEC Championship game (Alabama victory), 2022 National Championship game (Georgia victory), and the 2021 SEC Championship game (Alabama victory), among countless other match-ups.
With a 2-1 season record so far, Alabama has had a relatively rough start to the year, falling to No. 17 thanks in no small part to a shock Florida State loss in the season opener. Georgia, on the other hand, sits at No. 5 after winning its first three games of the season. The Bulldogs will play host this weekend at the Athens-based Sanford Stadium.

How to watch Alabama vs. Georgia in the US
In the US, ESPN Unlimited will live stream today’s Alabama vs. Georgia game. Since it’s a nationally broadcast match-up, it won’t be available through ESPN Plus in the ESPN Select tier. Instead, you’ll need to opt for the $30 a month ESPN Unlimited tier, which offers live streams of every ESPN-related sports network.
There’s also an opportunity to save 40% when you bundle ESPN Unlimited with Disney Plus and Hulu, a $30 a month offer that grants you savings for 12 months. This offer is particularly alluring given the upcoming price hikes for Disney Plus and Hulu.
If you’re looking for a viewing option that will allow you to watch more college football games this season, beyond just those on ESPN and ABC properties, then it might be time to try a month-to-month live TV streaming service such as DirecTV or Fubo.
DirecTV MySports carries 20+ popular sports channels and unlocks access to ESPN Unlimited. Subscriptions cost $70 a month, but new users can get their first two months for $60 a month and a five-day free trial.
Fubo is another ESPN-friendly live TV streamer. Fubo’s Sports + News pack offers over 20 sports and news channels, and access to ESPN Unlimited. Subscriptions cost $56 a month, but new users can get their first month for $46 after a five-day free trial. This new package is only available in select markets, so if it’s not in your area, you can also sign up for the Fubo Pro plan, which costs $85 a month.
How to watch Alabama vs. Georgia from anywhere
We know that a devoted college football fan hates to miss a game, but it can be hard to tune in while traveling away from home. Fortunately, a VPN (virtual private network) can help viewers keep up with their usual streaming methods from anywhere. VPNs are easy-to-use cybersecurity tools that let people alter the virtual location on their electronic devices. This way, they can still use their favorite websites and apps while traveling, just like they would back home. This option will work best for Americans who are simply traveling abroad at the moment since the services we’ve recommended require US methods of payment.
If you’re not sure where to start when it comes to VPNs, our top pick is NordVPN. It’s user-friendly (even for beginners), offers a full suite of cybersecurity perks (making it a must-have even if you’re just at home), and has a 30-day money-back guarantee, so it’s no sweat if you find that it’s not what you’re looking for. Our official NordVPN review has a full breakdown of everything you need to know about the app.
Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
